The Hotel-Restaurant Le Vieux Tilleul has become in the course of time an emblematic and must see place in Seyne-les-Alpes. Recently, during the renovation of this old farm building, the owners, Pascale Giordano and Matthieu Bonnoure have done their best to preserve its charm and character in order to welcome you you just as if you were at home.

Located in the heart of a 2 hectares wooded park along the river “La Blanche”, “Le Vieux Tilleul” is a haven of peace where you will enjoy to rest and relax all year long. You will like to warm you up in the Haute-Provence sun and you will relax under some big tree shadow…
Numerous activities starting from the Vieux Tilleul
From the Vieux Tilleul, you can practice lots of activities : hiking, family walking, all year round. Just a few kilometres away swimming and water sport are waiting for you in Serre-Ponçon lake, one of the largest European artificial lake. The Hotel-Restaurant is situated in the heart of the “La Blanche valley”, near 3 ski resorts: Le Grand-Puy, Chabanon and Saint-Jean Montclar.
A legendary tree
All has been done to preserve the authenticity and the charm of the house but unfortunatly it has been impossible to keep the old lime tree alive. The old lime tree no longer exists, sadly alas but the legend still remains. Seyne inhabitants affirm that it should have been planted by the architect Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban, major figure who built the Vauban citadel of Seyne-les-Alpes.

A family favourite place
Pascale Giordano and Matthieu Bonnoure, mother and son, manage together the Hotel-Restaurant Le Vieux Tilleul since 2016. In doing so, each one realized its dream: Pascale made a fresh start after 30 years dedicated to the commercial development and management of a family company in Aubagne . As she felt in love with the Vieux Tilleul and La Blanche Valley she decided to renovate this place in order to welcome her hosts just as if they were "at home".
Daring and traditional cooking
Fascinated by culinary art, Matthieu, her son, decided to reveal his talent in the Restaurant, l’Insolent, after hotel and catering studies and career experiences in several luxuous hotels in Cannes. He reveals his creativity on the card proposal with original dishes creations. He likes when audacity goes well with traditions combining selected local products.
Bedrooms
Located in Seyne-les-Alpes, small city of the Alpes de Haute-Provence, the Vieux Tilleul is a two-star hotel. It exists since 1948 and owns 18 mountain style bedrooms. You can choice your favourite between farm or wood mountain atmosphere. Whatever the choice, each bedroom is fully confortable for a cosy stay : private bathroom (shower or bath) with towels, welcoming products, WC, phone.
